In BENE RUS company it was decided to celebrate the beginning of spring profitably: in the evening of March 1, in the showroom on Strastnoy Boulevard, 16, a workshop was held for architects and heads of architectural bureaus titled: "Communication in an architectural project - how to prevent a dumb phone". The project management expert Ibrahim Hassan discussed with the guests how to build up communication properly with all project participants, effectively distribute roles and responsibilities between them, how to avoid a "dumb phone" during communication of information.
"2 out of 5 projects do not achieve project goals which were set. At the same time, 50% of the fault in the failed projects lies on the absence of effective communication, "Ibrahim Hassan said. - In order to minimize communication risks, it is necessary to plan the communications for the project, manage and monitor them. So, in any work, you can not let the information component take its course, it is important to regulate the basic principles of communication, key participants, the communication methods used, the frequency". The expert suggested a practical check-list for effective management of communications in the project. For example, it is always important to choose the appropriate type of communication depending on the recipient ("to always talk with the person in his language"), to document in writing all the arrangements for the project - "if it was not written somewhere, it was not arranged at all." In addition, regardless of the entry list, it is always necessary to keep a record of meetings and send it to the participants within an hour after the meeting.
The workshop was fun and interactive, and after that everyone had an opportunity to chat with the expert in a more casual atmosphere during the course of drinks and buffet reception.
